Some serious reading for Easter

So many years will be spent searching, studying, classifying, before my life is secured, carefully arranged and labelled in a safe place – secure against theft, fire and nuclear war – from whence it will be possible to take it out and assemble it at any point. Then, being thus assured of never dying, I may finally rest.

Christian Boltanski, Research and Presentation of All that Remains of My Childhood, 1944-1950, 1969

Too fond.

Or if thou think’st I am too quickly won,
I’ll frown, and be perverse, and say thee nay,
So thou wilt woo; but else, not for the world.
In truth, fair Montague, I am too fond,
And therefore thou mayst think my ‘haviour light.
But trust me, gentleman, I’ll prove more true
Than those that have more cunning to be strange.

Romeo and Juliet, II.ii.137-143
