Marc Chagall

Marc Chagall
The Rooster (1929)

This time the painting teacher asked me to imitate Chagall.
I find this even more challenging than the previous Dali thing.
Chagall is just… eccentric.
There is no way pretending an eccentric style when the eccentric character, which is the origin of the style, does not exist.
But I love his choice of colours, I will try to do something using his colour schemes.
And I will pile layers and layers of thick paint onto the canvas.
And the theme is “Memory”.
All beautiful colours come from dreams and memories.
It will be stunning.
